The Brief

The brief is like this...

more details on my process...
A personal project in honour of my fascination with modularity & grid. There's a set of defined constraints —modules and grids— and then there's your own imagination… your own taste… You can freely play with tiles while you’re listening to your favourite song —please let it be soul!— and make your unique arrangement of tiles! The grid is actively standing there, yet does not push the whole design to only one option… The cover designed for “When Nietzsche Wept” represents the existential angst by a Möbius strip —imitating an iterating puzzle that one can never solve. The angst is and will always be there… Once you realize it, you may try to find a way to deal with it. Packaging designed to showcase the recently delivered flavours for the outstanding chocolate brand, Charm Chocolate, represents the joy the chocolate bars can bring to everybody’s life. Charm Chocolate’s products are of unquestionable quality. Therefore, a confident design with a semi-minimal approach that stands calm, quiet and yet eye-catching, well suits the company’s laconic attitude. A client welcome booklet for PCM Corp., a third-party accounts receivable firm. By receiving the booklet, new customers should be immediately reassured that they have made a great decision by moving ahead with PCM Corp. They should easily be able to keep track of procedures and access to the key information. The booklet should remind them their experience with PCM Corp. whenever they use it… Inspired by aerial views of salterns, this design reflects a positive interaction between human and the environment highlighting the fact that nature's beauty is augmented when treated with care, affection and respect. Think Twice belongs to a volunteer group that tries to raise awareness about various important social issues. The sixth issue is about parenthood. It simply challenges the idea of being parents as a default stage of one’s life via explaining hardships of parenthood. The neutral tone of the design should help to prevent any possible negative emotions in the audience. The zine’s main goal is to remind the young generation to think twice about having a child and to make sure that they are ready for it and it is what they really want.
